I really recommend staying here

I am very happy to have stayed at Happy Nomads. The yurts are truly authentic, hand made, and very beautiful. Tynch and his family also made great efforts to help us with our trip, far beyond just providing accommodation. Although we stayed during winter, in he snow, the underfloor heating keeps the yurts cozy and warm even in cold weather. I really recommend staying here. (Alex, London)

"Побывали в гостевом доме в январе 2015 г. - большой компанией приезжали в Каракол кататься на лыжах. Отдых прошел отлично. Хозяева гостеприимны, завтрак и ужин всегда во время, очень вкусные блюда - по заказу приготовить могут все. Всегда свежие борсоки, облепиховое варенье, манты, шорпо - пальчики оближешь! Уютная по-семейному атмосфера. Дом теплый. Очень советую для больших компаний и не только!"

After living and working in Kyrgyzstan for 2.5 years, I had several friends visit me from the United States.

I wanted them to get a good authentic Kyrgyz experience, but be comfortable and happy as well. I can say without a doubt, Happy Nomads is a great combination of both.

Everyone loved the Yurt and even though it was a cold pouring rain for our first night, it was warm and comfortable for everyone. The food was good and the owners are really amazing as well. Their English is top-notch and they really understand the tourist economy. This is exactly what Karakol needed and I'm glad it is there now.

“A nice homestay in Karakol”

Rome from Thailand was our guest in October. He visited 80+ countries of the world.

I stayed at Happy Nomads Village in October. The weather in Karakol was very cold, but it was very warm inside the yurt. The floor was warm and there was heater inside. The bed and pillow was soft and comfortable. I had a very good sleep.

Other than a nice stay, every guest who stay here must try their homemade food! It was one of the most delicious meals I had in Central Asia!!!

Tynch and his family was very nice. They speak english and can help you plan your trip in Kyrgyzstan. The guesthouse locates in the outskirt of Karakol, surrounded by a nice plantation with Tian Shan Mountains as a background, very beautiful!!! I wish I could go back there again really soon.

Happy Nomads Village gives you the perfect mix of a Kyrgyz home stay along with the comforts of a hotel! Tynch and his family were excellent hosts and provided great travel advice and helped arrange affordable transportation in the area. I would definitely come back!

“Wonderful Kyrgyz hospitality, stunning location”

I have no words to describe how absolutely amazing this place is! I stayed here for a week while doing some work in Karakol, and it was so hard to leave! The location is gorgeous - the backyard just outside the compound is a huge apple orchard running up to huge, snow-capped mountains. The yurts are super comfortable (heated floors and wifi in a yurt, what more could you possibly want?), and the garden and topchan are lovely for hanging out and chatting. And the breakfast is incredible - I looked forward to each morning to get to eat all the tasty things that were on offer. By far the best thing about this place, though, is the family - Tynch, Altinai, Sultanat, Temirbek, and adorable baby Akbarchyn made my stay absolutely spectacular. They are an incredibly kind, welcoming, generous family and getting to sit, drink tea, and talk with them about Kyrgyz culture, history, and politics was the highlight of my whole week. They even humored me by speaking Russian with me the whole week, although they all speak excellent English. So in sum, I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for amazing Kyrgyz hospitality in a gorgeous location, then look no further.

“True Kyrgyzstan experience, a must for any visit.”

The perfect combination of traditional Kyrgyz living and modern comforts. Staying in a yurt is a must during any visit to Kyrgyzstan. I can't imagine any place better than the Happy Nomads Village.

The yurts are beautiful, all hand made in a nearby village and a warm refuge in the colder months. The neighbors (it's a village, remember) are wonderful, full of useful tips and stories of Kyrgyzstan's history.

Clean bathrooms, hot showers, and laundry keep you fresh for each day of site seeing and trekking around Karakol.

Best of all is the breakfast (and any other meal you get there! We got Pumpkin Manti for dinner our last night, our best meal in Kyrgyzstan!) which is a daily masterpiece by the chef. Everyone staying at Happy Nomads is well fed, delicious food and plenty of it.

This is THE place to stay during your visit to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan."

Happy Nomads Village is a great place to stay in Karakol - and one of the best I found in Kirghizstan since 2008. Both exotic with nice yourts and confortable with nice beds and clean bathrooms, with a reliable and friendly service and very reasonnable prices.

I was there with my father, 65, and brother, 14, who visited the country for the first time. Both really enjoyed it. So I did.

“A Happy Traveler at Happy Nomads”

My stay at Happy Nomads was fantastic! Tynchtykbek went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay.

The yurts are really something special--they're a blend of traditional Kyrgyz with modern comforts like heated floors and raised, cushy beds.

The bathrooms are impeccably clean, the beds are warm and cozy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. This is a family-run business and it really shows--all members of the family are so warm and welcoming.

I absolutely recommend Happy Nomads to any traveler looking for a place to stay in Karakol. Though it's a little bit out of town, the owners make sure to get you where you need to be!

Room Tip: All of the yurts are great.
